Job summary

METRO Pakistan seeks a Store Operations professional to manage mass merchandising, stock levels, and department cleanliness in a fast-paced wholesale environment.

You will report to the Customer Experiance Manager, lead store associates, and ensure planogram compliance while delivering excellent customer service.

• Report to the Customer Experiance Managerand assist in stock ordering and maintaining optimum stock levels in the department.
• Lead the team of Store Associates in mass merchandising, shelf management, stock management, and department cleanliness.
• Assist the FM in achieving departmental sales targets.
• Ensure the department is properly organized and ready before store opening.
• Ensure product presentation according to the Planogram.
• Follow all applicable SOPs.
• Maintain discipline and wear proper professional attire.
• Track product expiry dates during and after stock deliveries in coordination with Store Associates.
• Ensure effective stock and shelf management.
• Provide optimum customer service.
• Maintain 100% cleanliness of the department and shelves.
• Ensure 10% new customer development annually.
• Ensure 100% product shelf viability and reduce departmental shrinkage to the desired level.
• Ensure 100% cleaning compliance and minimize product expiries.
• Train and coach team members by identifying and discussing their strengths and weaknesses to meet operational standards.
• Coach and train team members on existing and new concepts, technologies, and functionalities to support the achievement of team objectives, enhance technical skills, and promote a positive attitude and individual growth.
• Address customer complaints to understand customer needs and expectations and propose appropriate solutions.
