Job summary

METRO Pakistan in Multan is seeking a Store Associate to support the Customer Experience Manager by ensuring optimum stock levels and guiding a team in mass merchandising.

You will focus on product presentation according to planograms, adhere to SOPs, and maintain punctuality, discipline, and professional attire while driving departmental productivity.

Graduation or equivalent experience is considered, with exposure to wholesale or retail environments preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation with less than 6 years of relevant experience, or Intermediate with 6 or more years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Report to the Customer Experience Manager and assist with stock ordering and maintaining optimum stock levels in the department.
• Lead Store Associates in mass merchandising, shelf management, stock management, and departmental cleanliness.
• Improve productivity and operational efficiency within the department.
• Assist the Customer Experience Manager (CEM) in achieving departmental sales targets.
• Ensure overnight department preparation in accordance with Dark Store Operations (DSO) protocols and readiness before store opening.
• Ensure product presentation according to the Planogram.
• Ensure all activities comply with SOPs, company policies, and applicable protocols.
• Maintain punctuality, discipline, and professional attire in accordance with uniform guidelines.
• Conduct quality assurance (QA) checks using the defined protocols and checklists to maintain quality standards.
• Monitor product expiry dates during and after stock deliveries and ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.
• Ensure effective stock and shelf management.
