Job summary

Sui Southern Gas Company Limited invites applications for a senior role overseeing fixed assets accounting, depreciation, and inventory controls. The role focuses on asset capitalization, regulatory reporting, and audit readiness, ensuring compliance with asset policies.

The incumbent will coordinate with internal and external auditors, manage asset lifecycle, and prepare detailed MIS for OGRA templates and management review.

Qualifications

• Team leadership experience required (minimum 4 years).
• CA/ACMA with post-membership experience of at least 6 years or ACCA/MBA in Finance with at least 9 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain fixed asset records and verify accuracy through regular counts.
• Review depreciation methodologies and ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
• Provide MIS reports to Tariff Department and auditors (OGRA, government, external).
• Supervise un-posted, mass additions documentation and capitalization of assets.
• Review Asset Retirement Advices and approve asset retirements.
• Oversee inventory and stores activity including stock receiving, issuing and transfers.
• Coordinate with IT to ensure ERP system and accounting modules function properly.
• Prepare quarterly, half yearly, and annual stores schedules for financial statements.
