Job summary

Qualifications

• Min 2 years of experience in finance, accounting or related O2C/MDM role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with SAP/FSCM or similar ERP systems preferred.
• Excellent data accuracy, attention to detail and deadline oriented.

Responsibilities

• Review and process master data requests in SAP/FSCM within defined SLAs and quality targets.
• Coordinate with FBPs and C&C teams to ensure accurate material listings and master data for products.
• Manage and monitor GMM/material master workflows to support O2C execution.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships to translate business needs into master data solutions.
• Support automation and standardization initiatives in O2C MDM (workflows, reporting, data validation).
• Ensure documentation and adherence to internal controls (SOX/ICFW) for audits and data queries.
• Assist O2C team with ad hoc queries and tasks as required.

Job Purpose

The Financial Analyst – MDM is responsible for supporting the Order to Cash (O2C) function by ensuring master data is created, maintained, and governed in a timely, accurate, and well-controlled manner. The role helps to deliver the Finance vision of a world-class finance function recognized by industry, the profession and our people, underpinning the GSK vision, through strong financial acumen, robust controls, and compliance in all master data activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and process master data requests (creation, amendments, finance data updated) in SAP/FSCM within defined SLAs and quality targets.
• Coordinate closely with FBPs and Close & Control (C&C) teams to ensure timely and accurate material listings, channel set‑ups and related master data for new and existing products.
• Manage and monitor GMM / material master workflows, resolving issues and bottlenecks to support smooth order‑to‑cash execution.
• Proactively build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders (FBP, C&C, Commercial, Tech, Supply Chain) to understand business needs and translate them into robust master data solutions.
• Contribute to and support automation and standardization initiatives in O2C MDM (e.g. workflow improvements, reporting automation, data validation tools).
• Ensure robust documentation and adherence to internal control frameworks (e.g. SOX/ICFW), supporting internal/external audits and responding to data-related queries.
• Support the O2C team with any ad hoc queries and tasks as required.

Education, Experience & Skills

• Minimum 2 years of experience in finance, accounting or a related O2C/MDM role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with SAP/FSCM or similar ERP systems (preferred).
• Excellent data accuracy skills, strong attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines.
• Ability to proactively identify issues, analyse root causes and take appropriate corrective actions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to clearly explain policies and issues to internal and external customers.
• Sufficient financial acumen to ensure postings to the financial statements are reasonable and accurate.
• Ability to implement and operate within strong controls and compliance frameworks (e.g. SOX/ICFW).
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills to work effectively with finance, commercial, tech and supply chain teams.
