Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, taxation, budgeting, and compliance activities for our client. The ideal candidate should have a partially qualified CA or ACCA qualification, with 2–3 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance. Candidates with exposure to the power generation, renewable energy, engineering, infrastructure, or operations and maintenance (O&M) sectors will be preferred.

The successful candidate will support financial planning, maintain accurate financial records, assist with audits and tax compliance, and ensure timely preparation of financial reports for management.

JobResponsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting operations, including bookkeeping, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, and financial summaries.
• Assist in budgeting, cost control, cash flow monitoring, and financial analysis.
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Support tax filings, tax documentation, payroll‑related taxation, and compliance with applicable Pakistani tax regulations.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with monthly financial closing and timely reporting to management.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, banks, tax authorities, and relevant government departments.
• Assist in payroll processing and employee‑related financial documentation.
• Prepare financial documents and reports for the head office.
• Support import/export‑related financial documentation and other finance‑related administrative tasks.
• Assist with procurement and expense verification.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualification: Partially qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or ACCA.
• Experience: 2–3 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, taxation, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Industry Preference: Experience in power generation, renewable energy, engineering, construction, infrastructure, or O&M sectors will be an advantage.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and Pakistani tax regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem‑solving skills.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professional judgment.
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and coordinate effectively with management and external stakeholders.
