Job summary

Daraz is seeking a Finance professional to join our Shared Services team in Karachi. The role focuses on maintaining financial records, processing AR and GL entries, and delivering timely financial analysis to support management decisions.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Accounting/Finance, 3+ years in a finance role, strong accounting knowledge, and experience with ERP systems. Collaborative cross-functional work and process automation initiatives are part of this position.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related professional qualification.
3+ years of relevant work experience in a finance role, preferably in a shared services environment.
Strong understanding of accounting principles.
Experience with financial systems and ERP software.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and present findings.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Assist in managing and maintaining financial records for the Shared Services department, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Process financial transactions, including accounts receivable, and general ledger entries, in a timely and efficient manner.
Conduct regular financial analysis and reporting, providing insights to support decision-making for the management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth financial operations and resolve discrepancies.
Issuing invoices to the different clients and ensuring timely recoveries.
Support the implementation of financial process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and controls.
