Job summary

NOMC is seeking an Information Security Coordinator to oversee and coordinate information security activities across the organization, ensuring timely completion and alignment with policy requirements. Responsibilities include risk assessments for telecom infrastructure, regulatory compliance (PTA CTDISR), audits, vulnerability management, PAM, SOC/SIEM coordination, and KPI reporting to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity or related field.
• CEH, CYSA+, Security+ certifications are a plus.
• 4–6 years of telecom network security or access/identity management experience.
• Exposure to EMS/NMS platforms in Core/Transport/RAN/Access domains preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate information security activities and ensure timely completion.
• Support asset lifecycle management aligned with enterprise policies.
• Perform network security risk assessments for telecom infrastructure and vendor engagements.
• Ensure compliance with policies, standards and PTA CTDISR regulations.
• Support internal and external audits and regulatory inspections.
• Govern vulnerability assessments and drive risk-based remediation with SLAs.
• Oversee Privileged Access Management including onboarding and reviews.
• Coordinate SIEM onboarding and security monitoring with SOC teams.
• Collaborate on governance initiatives, Awareness programs and control improvements.
• Prepare and report Network Security KPIs to management and stakeholders.

Job description

• To conduct and coordinate information security activities within NOMC and ensure timely completion of all the information security related activities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support identification, classification, ownership and lifecycle management of information security assets in alignment with enterprise policies.
• Perform network security risk assessments for telecom infrastructure, changes and vendor engagements including risk treatment and acceptance processes.
• Ensure compliance with information security policies, standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., PTA CTDISR).
• Support for internal audits, external audits, and regulatory inspections, ensuring timely closure of observations.
• Govern vulnerability assessment activities and ensure risk based remediation within defined SLAs.
• Oversee Privileged Access Management (PAM) including onboarding, access reviews and periodic audits.
• Coordinate SIEM onboarding and security monitoring of NOMC assets with SOC teams.
• Collaborate with Information Security teams on governance initiatives, awareness programs and control improvements.
• Prepare and report Network Security KPIs to management and relevant stakeholders

Eligibility Criteria (Education, Knowledge, Experience and Skills):

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Software/Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CEH, CYSA+, Security+) are an added advantage

Work Experience:

• Preferably 4–6 years of relevant experience in telecom network operations, network security or access/identity management.
• Exposure to EMS/NMS platforms in at least one of Core, Transport, RAN or Access Network domains is preferred.
