iSystems Ltd. seeks an ETL Operations Engineer to monitor and support enterprise data warehouse environments, ensuring ETL job execution, database performance, and SLA adherence. The role covers Teradata administration, PowerCenter workflow monitoring, and backup operations.

The candidate should have a CS/IT/SE degree, knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes, and experience with SJLM scheduling. Willingness to work rotating shifts and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree as specified in the Requirements.
• Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes.
• Basic Teradata knowledge (Teradata DB, Viewpoint) and SQL.
• Familiarity with Informatica PowerCenter workflow monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of job scheduling tools, preferably SJLM.
• Know how NetBackup/DSA backup and recovery monitoring works.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes, incident management, and ticketing systems.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in rotational shifts and meet SLAs.
• Exposure to telecom data environments and large-scale ETL ecosystems is an advantage.

• Monitor Informatica PowerCenter workflows, troubleshoot failures, and escalate unresolved issues.
• Monitor SJLM scheduled jobs and ensure successful job completion.
• Monitor NetBackup / DSA backup operations and report failures.
• Monitor Teradata Viewpoint dashboards, system performance, and availability alerts.
• Monitor database statistics and identify performance-related anomalies.
• Investigate production incidents, job failures, and operational alerts.
• Maintain incident tickets, operational logs, and shift handover documentation.
• Follow ITIL-based processes, escalation procedures, and SLA requirements.
• Provide rotational shift support, including weekends and on-call duties when required.
