Job summary

Qualifications

• Master or Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, MBA or related field from an HEI recognized by HEC
• 5 to 7 years of experience in ESG/risk management within banking or financial services
• Strong knowledge of national/international sustainability standards and regulatory requirements
• Analytical mindset with ability to analyse large datasets and assess E&S risks
• Proficient in IT systems and applications; data reporting and visualization skills

Responsibilities

• Implement E&S risk policies, frameworks, roadmaps, strategies and targets for the Bank
• Conduct and report environmental and social risk assessments of credit proposals
• Develop and present E&S risk reports to internal and external stakeholders
• Provide Green Advisory Services to the Bank and to current and potential obligors
• Collaborate with other Bank functions to ensure implementation of E&S risk policies and procedures
• Identify staff training needs to support career progression
• Perform under pressure with strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, banking operations and policies
