To execute and deliver high-quality mechanical engineering designs for Transmission & Distribution, Building and Energy projects, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines. The role involves close collaboration with designers to develop innovative and efficient mechanical solutions, contributing to the successful completion of consultancy and energy-related projects within the Power Business Unit.
- Develop and deliver mechanical designs that meet quality standards and project timelines.
- Follow established design guidelines, procedures, and industry best practices.
- Perform detailed design analysis and calculations in line with project specifications.
- Assess project feasibility and constraints to inform design decisions.
- Utilize advanced software and technology to create efficient and innovative designs.
- Ensure strict adherence to Quality Management System (QMS) standards.
Technical Knowledge and Experience
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Mechanical Design and Analysis, specifically in HVAC, Plumbing, and Firefighting systems for T&D, Power Plants, Building, Power & Energy and Industrial Projects.
- Strong expertise in designing mechanical systems (HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting) for substations, industrial facilities, and plants, covering all phases from base design through detailed design to IFC stages.
- In-depth knowledge of key industry codes and standards, including ASHRAE, ASME, NFPA, AIA, HTM codes, International Building Code (IBC), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), Regional Standards, Saudi Standards,
- Strong working knowledge of design software, including HAP and Elite for heat load calculations, MS Excel, drafting tools, 3D platforms, and document management systems.
Education and Certifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, supplemented by relevant professional certifications or accreditations.
