Job summary

DAR Engineering, a leading design and engineering consultancy in Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to deliver high-quality designs for Transmission & Distribution, Building and Energy projects. You will collaborate with designers, perform calculations, follow guidelines, and ensure QMS adherence across base to IFC stages.

Minimum 3-5 years experience; bachelor's in mechanical engineering; experience with HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting; knowledge of ASHRAE/IFC standards;

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Mechanical Design and Analysis, specifically in HVAC, Plumbing, and Firefighting systems for T&D, Power Plants, Building, Power & Energy and Industrial Projects.
• Strong expertise in designing mechanical systems (HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting) for substations, industrial facilities, and plants, covering all phases from base design through detailed design to IFC stages.
• In-depth knowledge of key industry codes and standards, including ASHRAE, ASME, NFPA, AIA, HTM codes, International Building Code (IBC), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), Regional Standards, Saudi Standards,
• Strong working knowledge of design software, including HAP and Elite for heat load calculations, MS Excel, drafting tools, 3D platforms, and document management systems.
