Job summary

Cummins Inc. in Pakistan is seeking a Field Service Technician to diagnose and complete less complex engine repairs at customer sites, while maintaining a safe and clean workspace and documenting work performed.

You will engage with customers professionally, prepare required parts and tools, perform preventive maintenance, and escalate issues as needed. The role emphasizes service quality, compliance with safety policies, and collaboration with supervisors and dealers.

Qualifications

• Apprentice Trained Engine Technician preferred.
• Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution.
• Locally valid driving permit.
• This position may require licensing for export controls or sanctions regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Service Delivery Process (SDP) at dealerships, conduct audits, identify gaps, and drive improvements for a robust process.
• Daily review and closure of critical breakdown events by coordinating with customers, dealerships, and process owners.
• Build strong relationships with key customers, conduct customer visits, and address concerns effectively.
• Monitor Net Promoter Score (NPS) at dealerships, analyze detractors, and implement improvements.
• Conduct dealer score audits, share improvement recommendations, and work towards target achievement.
• Investigate product/system problems, document findings, and provide onsite technical expertise as needed.
• Identify skill gaps and collaborate with leadership to enhance technical team capabilities.
