Job summary
Cummins Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support HSE, maintenance reliability, automation, and quality initiatives on-site at our Punjab, Saddar facility. This role focuses on safe operations, diagnostics, and continuous improvement across electrical, automation, and robotics systems.
You will troubleshoot Siemens PLCs, ABB/FANUC/Yaskawa robots, PROFINET networks, and contribute to TPM programs while ensuring equipment uptime and safety compliance on a busy manufacturing line.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or technical diploma required.
- Relevant industrial maintenance, automation, electrical, or manufacturing experience.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, control drawings, manuals, and technical documentation.
- Knowledge of industrial safety practices and electrical safety requirements.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate commitment to workplace safety by adhering to Cummins HSE policies and reporting hazards.
- Perform preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems, PLCs, drives, and automation equipment.
- Support uptime improvement analyses and reliability initiatives.
- Maintain and document maintenance activities following standards and procedures.
- Collaborate with Production, Quality, IT, Maintenance, and other teams.
