Job summary

SUMMAT is seeking an Embroidery Digitizer in Lahore to convert artwork into embroidery-ready files using industry-standard software. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of hands-on experience and a strong understanding of stitch types.

You will collaborate with designers, pattern teams, embroidery operators and the production team to ensure precise execution, maintain a digital library, and meet sampling and production deadlines.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in embroidery digitizing.
• Proficient in embroidery digitizing software and understands common stitch types.
• Attention to garment features such as measurements, placements, panels, necklines, sleeves, borders.

Responsibilities

• Convert artwork, sketches, motifs into embroidery digitized files using industry-standard software.
• Create and adjust embroidery designs based on garment measurements and features.
• Prepare embroidery files optimized for different techniques, fabrics and garment categories.
• Select stitch types, density, underlay, sequencing, and color changes for each design.
• Conduct embroidery sampling and modify files to meet quality standards.
• Collaborate with designers, pattern teams, and production to ensure accurate execution.
• Resize and edit existing embroidery files while maintaining design integrity.
• Identify and resolve production issues like puckering and thread breaks.
• Maintain an organized digital library of embroidery files and samples.
• Ensure designs are production-ready and meet deadlines.
