Job summary

Best Clinic Abroad starts every case with a free case review: a patient sends reports and scans, and the company finds an accredited hospital and a board-certified doctor abroad who can look at them. Today consultants gather that file before forwarding it to a partner hospital.

You meet patients online, by video call and WhatsApp, to understand their situation and ensure documents are complete and clinically coherent before proceeding to a partner hospital abroad.

Qualifications

• Fluent spoken and written English, comfortable on video calls with patients from other countries.
• A recognised medical degree (MBBS or equivalent); registration status is checked at interview.
• On site in Islamabad, Pakistan, and able to communicate with international partner doctors.

Responsibilities

• Speak with prospective patients online to understand their condition in plain terms and explain how the free case review works
• Check that medical reports, scans and history are complete and consistent before a case goes to a partner hospital
• Approach accredited hospitals and board-certified doctors abroad and bring them into the partner programme
• Talk to partner doctors in clinical language about what they need to give a price list or opinion
• Brief the consultants on medical points so they communicate accurately, without ever giving medical advice themselves

Best Clinic Abroad starts every case with a free case review: a patient sends reports and scans, and the company finds an accredited hospital and a board-certified doctor abroad who can look at them. Today consultants gather that file without a clinician's eye. This position adds a doctor to the front of the process, so patients speak to someone who understands what they are describing and hospitals receive files they can act on.

You meet patients online, by video call and WhatsApp, to understand their situation in plain terms and to make sure the documents are complete and make clinical sense before they go to a partner hospital. The business development half of the job faces the other way: you approach accredited hospitals and board-certified doctors in destinations such as Turkey, Germany, India, Spain, Israel and Switzerland, speak to them as a fellow clinician and bring them into the partner programme. You do not diagnose, prescribe or recommend a treatment: that decision stays with the treating doctor abroad.

Salary: PKR 70,000 – 90,000 per month. Negotiable according to experience and skills.

Requirements

• Professional confidence with other doctors and hospital managers abroad
• On site in E-11, Islamabad, Pakistan, 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM; working days confirmed at interview

Preferred

• Clinical experience in a specialty patients commonly seek abroad, such as cardiology, orthopaedics, dentistry or oncology
• Experience in hospital administration, medical tourism or telemedicine
• Business development or partnership experience in healthcare
