Job summary

ACT International is seeking a Divisional Coordinator for the Lahore Division. The role oversees Facilitation Centre Coordinators across districts, ensures smooth BNP activity implementation, and maintains strong donor-facing reporting.

Regular field visits and close coordination with district health departments and partners are essential. Candidates should have a master’s degree in Nutrition/MPH or Social Sciences and 2–5 years of relevant experience, with strong organizational and analytical

Qualifications

  • Master degree in Nutrition, MPH or Social Sciences.
  • 2-5 years of proven experience; health/nutrition exposure preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills; able to work independently.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Team player with ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of health and nutrition projects and PSEA.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support FCs across Lahore, Sheikhupura, Nankana Sahib, Kasur to meet targets.
  • Conduct regular field visits to monitor progress and provide guidance.
  • Coordinate with district stakeholders and program partners.
  • Document lessons learned and best practices for program improvement.
  • Foster relationships with government and NGO counterparts.
  • Organize stakeholder meetings and represent ACT International at district meetings.
  • Support development of public engagement materials and program insights.
  • Ensure activities comply with PSEA standards and protection principles.
  • Liaise with WFP/BISP monitors and ensure audit readiness.
  • Coordinate post-distribution monitoring and beneficiary feedback.

Job description

Divisional Coordinator (Lahore Division)

The employee will be responsible for overseeing and guiding all Facilitation Centre Coordinators (FCs) within the Lahore Division, ensuring smooth implementation of BNP project activities in line with approved work plans. The role requires regular field visits, close coordination with district health departments, BISP, WFP, and Medical Superintendents of hospitals, and ensuring timely, high-quality reporting to donors and management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Supervise and provide support to all Facilitation Centre Coordinators (FCs) across Districts Lahore, Sheikhupura, Nankana Sahib, and Kasur to ensure facilitation centres operate effectively and achieve planned targets.
  • Conduct regular field visits to all FC and the target locations to monitor progress, provide guidance and support, and resolve operational challenges in a timely manner.
  • Ensure effective cooperation and coordination from district-level stakeholders, including Deputy Commissioners (DCs), District Health Departments, BISP district teams, WFP Focal Persons, and Medical Superintendents of relevant hospitals.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of lessons learned, best practices, and case studies for programme improvement and future planning.
  • Foster strong working relationships with government and non-government counterparts to facilitate programme delivery.
  • Organize the stakeholder meetings and represent ACT International at district coordination meetings, forums, and events, presenting programme insights and learning outcomes.
  • Support the development of public engagement materials, including success stories, case studies, and digital content to showcase programme impact.
  • Ensure all activities comply with protection mainstreaming principles, gender sensitivity guidelines, do-no-harm frameworks, and PSEA standards.
  • Liaise with the field monitors of WFP and BISP during scheduled and unscheduled monitoring visits; ensure audit readiness at all times.
  • Coordinate post-distribution monitoring and feedback mechanisms with beneficiaries and community-level actors.
COMPETENCIES:
  • Master degree in a relevant discipline including Nutrition, MPH or Social Sciences.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of proven experience. Work experience in Nutrition and Health programmes will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated ability to work independently
  • Strong analytical and practical problem-solving skills
  • Computer literacy skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook;
  • A team player but also capable of working with minimal supervision.
  • Must have knowledge of health and nutrition projects
  • Must know how about PSEA
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
