Responsibilities

• Lead taxation strategy, compliance, and adjudication across group entities.
• Manage corporate finance operations, including budgeting and cash flows.
• Oversee external audits and liaise with auditors and regulatory authorities.
• Drive tax planning and refund claims.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and local regulatory frameworks.
• Provide tax and finance advice to management and board.
• Develop policies for working capital management and risk assessment.
• Mentor junior finance professionals.

Experience: 15+ years of progressive experience in taxation, finance, and audit across leading organizations.

Role Overview

The Director (Finance/Taxation) will serve as a strategic finance leader and business partner, overseeing taxation, corporate finance, and compliance functions. The role requires strong commercial acumen, deep expertise in tax accounting, and proven leadership in managing large cross‑functional teams within diversified industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead taxation strategy, compliance, and adjudication across group entities.
• Manage corporate finance operations, including budgeting, cash flows, feasibility studies, and portfolio optimization.
• Oversee external audits, liaise with auditors, legal consultants, and regulatory authorities.
• Drive tax planning, refund claims, and representation before appellate forums and tax departments.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, IAS, and local regulatory frameworks.
• Provide reliable tax and finance advice to management and board for strategic decision-making.
• Develop and implement policies for working capital management, financial reporting, and risk assessment.
• Mentor and guide junior finance professionals, fostering a culture of compliance and excellence.
