You will own AWS core services, containerisation with Docker/Kubernetes, GitHub Actions CI/CD, Terraform IaC, and observability, while driving cost optimisation and security by default.

Qualifications

• 8+ years hands-on DevOps, cloud, or SRE focusing on AWS core services.
• Strong Docker and container orchestration (ECS/EKS/Kubernetes).
• Hands-on GitHub Actions CI/CD with SonarQube gates.
• Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform / CDK) and scripting (Bash, Python).
• Proactive, collaborative mindset with focus on security by default.

Responsibilities

Global QSR and F&B names run their websites, mobile apps, self‑ordering kiosks, call‑centre ordering, delivery, and loyalty on the Simplex Suite — and it all runs on AWS, handling high transactions volume at 99.99% uptime across the Middle East and Europe.

What you’ll do

• Build and operate the AWS core that runs the platform — EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS/Aurora, S3, VPC, CloudFront, Route 53, IAM — for scale, high availability, and multi-region resilience.
• Containerise workloads with Docker and run them on ECS / EKS, with clean, secure images.
• Own CI/CD in GitHub Actions, with SonarQube quality and security gates so nothing ships below the bar.
• Codify everything as Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and automate the toil — provisioning, scaling, backups — with solid Bash and Python.
• Keep the platform observable and reliable (metrics, logs, traces, SLOs, on-call) — and secure by default.
• Hunt down cost, capacity, and reliability risks proactively, and keep runbooks current so the whole team can run with the work.

What we’re looking for

• 8+ years hands‑onin DevOps, cloud, or SRE — deep in AWS core services.

• Exposure to regulated / audit‑ready environments (ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI‑DSS).
