Job summary

Ghauri Tyre & Tube (Pvt) Ltd. is seeking a Deputy Manager Supply Chain for Lahore District. The role is full-time and on-site, focusing on end-to-end supply chain activities including demand planning, procurement, and inventory management to ensure seamless production operations.

The ideal candidate will analyze demand data, monitor stock levels, negotiate with suppliers, and collaborate with production, sales and finance teams. Prior experience in manufacturing supply chains is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of demand planning and data driven decision making.
• Experience with supply management, procurement and inventory control.
• Manufacturing industry background is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end supply chain activities including demand planning, procurement, and inventory management.
• Coordinate with production and sales teams to ensure material availability.
• Analyze demand and supply data and monitor stock levels.
• Place and track purchase orders and optimize processes.
• Prepare regular performance reports and manage supplier relationships.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field

CSCP or CPSM certifications advantageous

Role Description

The Deputy Manager Supply Chain is a full-time, on-site role based in Lahore District. This position oversees end-to-end supply chain activities, including demand planning, procurement, inventory management, and coordination with production and sales teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing demand and supply data, monitoring stock levels, placing and tracking purchase orders, and ensuring materials availability for uninterrupted production. The role also involves optimizing supply chain processes, managing supplier relationships, supporting cost-control initiatives, and preparing regular performance reports for management. The Deputy Manager Supply Chain collaborates closely with cross-functional stakeholders to maintain efficient workflows and support business growth.

• Candidates should possess strong Demand Planning and Analytical Skills to forecast requirements and interpret operational data.
• Candidates should possess skills in Supply Management and Procurement to manage suppliers, negotiate terms, and ensure timely sourcing of materials.
• Candidates should possess Inventory Management skills to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce stock-outs or excess inventory.
• Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with production, sales, finance, and external partners.
• Relevant experience in supply chain or operations within a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field is beneficial; professional certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) are an advantage.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and MS Excel, and familiarity with data-driven decision-making and process improvement methodologies.
