Job summary

Sui Southern Gas Company Limited is seeking an experienced BI/ETL professional to design, develop, and maintain Oracle CC&B based reports. The role emphasizes SQL/PLSQL scripting, data extraction, and ad-hoc reporting to support audits and department needs.

Candidate will work with Crystal Reports, JasperSoft Studio, IBM Cognos, and Oracle Warehouse Builder to build dashboards and ensure data integrity across reporting platforms.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive reports based on Oracle Customer Care & Billing using SQL and reporting tools.
• Write and optimize complex SQL and PL/SQL scripts for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Develop advanced reports using Crystal Reports and Jasper soft Studio.
• Create ad-hoc reports to support various business needs.
• Deliver timely and accurate data extracts to user departments, government bodies, and audits.
• Utilize Oracle Warehouse Builder for ETL workflows and data transformation.
• Build and deploy data structures and dashboards using IBM Cognos, BI Publisher, and Oracle Warehouse Builder.
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across all reporting platforms.
• Monthly financial reconciliation of subsidiary with GL.
• Workforce field management by measure their performance.
• Design business processes and workflows, collaborating closely with business teams.
• Lead solution design efforts, validating and suggesting options to meet business requirements.
• Possess strong domain knowledge in CC&B business functions including meter reading, billing, payment processing, collections, and field services.
• Demonstrate hands-on experience with ETL and data warehouse architecture and design.
• Payment reconciliation with treasury function in comparison to all stake holders.
• Assist in the day-to-day operations of the IT department while ensuring smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
• Provide inputs regarding potential opportunities to achieve operational improvement with a view to enhance efficiency.
• Assist in the implementation of relevant improvement actions.
• Assist in coordination with various teams to facilitate operational processes and resolve operational issues.
• Provide necessary support in generation and maintenance of IT reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to facilitate decision making.
• Participate in the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date documentation of operational procedures, processes, and reporting methodologies.
• Organize and manage documentation repositories for easy accessibility.
• Assist in preparing reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist in project management activities as directed by the Deputy Lead Manager Operations and Reporting.
• Provide support to end-users on basic IT-related issues and elevate complex issues to appropriate teams.
• The individual shall ensure compliance to the Enterprise Risk Management Framework enforced in the Company while performing job responsibilities in accordance with his assigned role.
• The individual shall ensure compliance to the Business Principles and Ethics Policy / Code of Conduct.
• Undertake any other task assigned by the supervisor.
