Job summary

Sui Southern Gas Company Limited in Karachi is seeking an IT Audit professional with a strong background in risk management and internal controls to support audit planning and governance of IT systems, business applications and IT infrastructure.

You will assist in developing the risk-based audit plan, conduct IT audits, prepare reports for the Audit Committee, and help ensure compliance with enterprise risk management and information security policies.

Qualifications

• MS CS/MS IT/MCS with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• BS/BCS with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Programming background with Python is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Manager – IT & Infrastructure in developing annual internal audit plan.
• Support internal audit assignments related to IT systems and infrastructure.
• Assist in preparing audit framework, templates, and checklists.
• Conduct IT audits of system applications and IT processes and report results.
• Assist in preparing presentations for the Audit Committee.
• Review IT management policies and security controls to ensure adequate internal controls.
• Ensure compliance to Enterprise Risk Management Framework and Code of Conduct.
• Undertake other assignments as instructed by senior management.

MS Computer Science or MS IT or MCS from HEC recognized university with at least 2 years of relevant experience

BS or BCS with at least 4 years of relevant experience.

Candidate with programming background specially in Python shall have added advantage.

Responsibilities:

JOB SUMMARY

The main purpose of this position is to assist in performing risk management, internal controls, and governance of Information Technology systems, business applications and IT infrastructure. The incumbent is responsible to support senior management to develop, manage and execute audit plan using risk-based approach, including any risks and controls identified by management.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide support to Manager – IT & Infrastructure in developing annual internal audit plan for the review and approval by Chief Internal Auditor and Audit Committee.
• Support and assist in developing internal audit and assurance assignments related to Information Technology systems and infrastructure.
• Assist in preparing audit framework, standard templates and checklists in context of approved audit plan across the organization.
• Conduct IT audits to cover system applications, and IT processes and prepare the results/report for review of Manager.
• Assist in preparation of presentations for the Audit Committee to discuss internal audit reports.
• Assist in reviewing IT management policies and procedures such as change management, business continuity planning / disaster recovery and information security to ensure that internal controls surrounding these processes are adequate.
• The individual shall ensure compliance to the Enterprise Risk Management Framework enforced in the Company while performing job responsibilities in accordance with his assigned role.
• The individual shall ensure compliance to the Business Principles and Ethics Policy / Code of Conduct.
• Undertake any other assignment as instructed by senior management.
