Hayat is seeking an Assistant Manager Finance – Accounting based in Lahore to lead core accounting activities, financial reporting, cash flow management, and tax coordination. The role requires close collaboration with HQ, vendors, banks, and internal departments to ensure accurate bookkeeping and timely reporting.

The ideal candidate holds CA qualification (or finalist) with 6–8 years in accounting/finance, preferably in FMCG/manufacturing, and has hands-on SAP S/4HANA and SAP Business One

About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced finance professional to join our Finance team as a Assistant Manager Finance – Accounting based in Lahore.

This role will be responsible for managing key accounting activities, financial reporting, cash flow management, reconciliations, taxation, audit coordination, and financial controls while supporting accurate and timely financial information for the business.

Role Summary

As an Assistant Manager Finance – Accounting, you will support the day-to-day operation of financial information systems and contribute to financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing activities. The role will involve close coordination with internal departments, HQ, vendors, and banks to ensure accurate bookkeeping, timely reporting, and effective financial controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle financial queries and enquiries from internal departments and HQ.
• Monitor procedures related to checking and authorizing accounts for payment as part of the Finance team.
• Contribute to the analysis of financial information and preparation of reports and recommendations for corrective actions.
• Prepare and monitor weekly cash flow, daily bank reports, monthly Capex reports, and monthly direct cash flow.
• Perform bank reconciliations and reconciliations with local and foreign vendors.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable activities.
• Ensure proper deduction of withholding tax (WHT) from payments, timely tax deposits to the government, and filing of tax returns.
• Coordinate external audits of financial statements and provide required information and documentation.
• Support budgeting activities and prepare financial statements and related reports according to schedule.
• Coordinate with vendors to resolve financial and payment-related issues.
• Process employee expense reimbursements in line with applicable policies.
• Process postings related to import payments and receipts from HQ.
• Liaise with banks on relevant financial and banking matters.
• Maintain accounting controls and support the preparation and recommendation of accounting policies and procedures.
• Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes and ensure timely bookkeeping.
• Provide day-to-day support for financial information systems and other financial reports required by management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and HSE requirements.

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or CA Finalist.
• 6–8 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance, preferably in an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
• Strong experience in financial accounting, reconciliations, cash flow, accounts payable and receivable, taxation, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Experience in external audit coordination, vendor reconciliations, banking, and intercompany transactions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, accuracy, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP Business One.
• Good English communication skills.
