The role requires ACCA/CA or equivalent qualification with 5–8 years of accounting, payroll, and finance experience, including supervisory exposure in IT preferred. Strong Excel and ERP skills are essential for accurate reporting and compliance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with payroll processing, bank reconciliation, and accounting best practices.
• Must have verifiable work history with reference letters.

Position Overview

The Accounts Manager will oversee payroll processing, cash management, and financial record-keeping for the company. This role is responsible for hands‑on preparation of monthly financial reports, executing employee salary disbursements, maintaining accurate corporate financial records, performing bank and GL reconciliations, and managing petty cash operations. The Accounts Manager will work closely with management and banking partners while directly reporting to Finance Director, to ensure smooth financial operations. The role requires a qualified accounting professional with strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and proven experience in payroll and accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and review the monthly payroll cycle, ensuring accurate salary calculations, proper compliance with all statutory deductions, and timely disbursement to all employees.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and transaction documentation.
• Perform monthly General Ledger (GL) account reconciliations against supporting documents to guarantee all financial transactions are accurately recorded, balanced, and audit-ready
• Record all financial transactions in the accounting system; maintain accurate journal entries and transaction documentation.
• Manage and reconcile petty cash accounts; ensure proper documentation for all petty cash disbursements.
• Execute the vendor disbursement cycle, approving vendor payments and cheque issuances while ensuring complete documentation, authorized approvals, and meticulous record-keeping.
• Manage daily cash flow and liquidity, maintaining updated cash position records and preparing monthly cash reports and reconciliation summaries for management review.
• Conduct monthly account Bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial records.
• Maintain organized financial documentation and records; ensure audit readiness and support auditor requirements.
• Coordinate with bank and resolve any banking-related issues or discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.
• Identify process improvements and implement best practices in accounting operations.

Qualifications

• ACCA, CA (Chartered Accountant), or equivalent professional accounting qualification is MANDATORY.
• 5–8 years of proven experience in accounting, payroll processing, and finance operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role (experience in the IT sector is highly preferred)
• Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems (SAP, Tally, QuickBooks, or similar); strong Excel skills.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processing, bank reconciliation, and accounting best practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Possess comprehensive knowledge of Pakistani corporate tax regulations, including hands‑on experience managing withholding taxes, tax deductions at source, and local corporate filings.
• Ability to work independently and maintain strict confidentiality with financial information.
• All work experience must be verifiable with reference letters from previous employers.
