Job summary

Avanceon in Lahore is seeking a Day Care Assistant to create a safe, supportive, and enriching environment for young children in our care. You will supervise playtime, help with meals and naps, support age-appropriate activities, and maintain a clean, hygienic space.

The role requires compassion, effective communication with parents and staff, and a commitment to ongoing professional development in childcare.

Qualifications

Prior experience with children in daycare, preschool, or similar setting.
Love for children and a desire to support growth.
Patience, empathy and strong communication skills.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple children.
Basic understanding of child development and early education practices.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Assist in supervising and engaging children during playtime, meals and naptime.
Assist with the implementation of age-appropriate educational activities and lesson plans.
Maintain a safe, clean and organized environment for children including sanitizing toys and equipment.
Help children with basic needs such as feeding, diapering and toileting.
Foster positive relationships with children, parents and staff members through effective communication and teamwork.
Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in childcare.
Follow daycare policies and procedures including health and safety protocols.
