Job summary

Avanceon Middle East & South Asia is seeking a Day Care Assistant to nurture and care for young children in our Lahore-area facility. You will create a safe, supportive, and enriching environment, assist with activities, meals, naps, and daily routines while following health and safety protocols.

The ideal candidate has a genuine love for children, patience, empathy, and strong communication skills, with prior daycare or preschool experience preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children in a daycare, preschool or similar setting is preferred.
• Genuine love for children and a desire to support their growth and development.
• Patience, empathy and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize the needs of multiple children.
• Basic understanding of child development principles and early childhood education practices.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising and engaging children during playtime, meals and naptime.
• Assist with the implementation of age-appropriate educational activities and lesson plans.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized environment for children including sanitizing toys and equipment.
• Help children with basic needs such as feeding, diapering and toileting.
• Foster positive relationships with children, parents and staff members through effective communication and teamwork.
• Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in childcare.
• Follow daycare policies and procedures including health and safety protocols.
