Job summary

Translation Empire PK in Rawalpindi/Islamabad is seeking Dari Interpreter and Translator to support healthcare, legal, educational, immigration and refugee services. The role is based onsite in DHA Sector F Rawalpindi, with duties spanning conference, consecutive and public service interpreting and liaison between service users and providers.

Requirements include an IELTS certificate with 6.5 overall (min 6.0 per subtest), a BS/MS in English language or TESOL/ELT, and fluency in English or

Qualifications

• Must hold an IELTS certificate with an overall band score of 6.5, including a minimum of 6.0 in each subtest (Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking).
• BS/MS Degree in English Language, Literature, English Language Teaching (ELT) or TESOL.
• Fluent in English or another language.

Responsibilities

• Interpret for people using legal, health and local government services
• Check the non-English speakers understanding after each sentence
• Conference, consecutive and public service interpreting
• Dealing with highly confidential information
• Liaise between the service user and service provider
