Job summary

Envision Imaging seeks a CT Technologist to join the team in a full-time role, with a schedule of Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM and a pay range of $35.35 - $45.57 per hour plus a $5,000 sign-on bonus for eligible hires. The CT Technologist performs CT examinations, positions patients, and runs cross-sectional scans using proper factors and software to provide image data for radiologist interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations and position patients for optimal imaging.
• Review charts, screen for implants and allergies, obtain prior films.
• Produce high-quality scans and submit to radiologist for interpretation.
• Maintain equipment and report quality issues promptly.
• Coordinate scan protocols with radiologist and transport images as needed.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and PPE requirements in a clinical setting.

Envision Imaging seeks a Full-Time CT Technologist to join the team!
Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM| Position Pay Range: $35.35 - $45.57 | $5,000 sign-on bonus to eligible hires

Summary/Objective:

The CT Technologists preformsCT examinations, positions patient, and performs cross-section anatomical scans using proper technical factors and computer programs to provide image and numerical values of tissue density.

Essential Functions

1. Interfaces with patient to ascertain medical history and provides instructions and explanation of the procedure and/or exam to obtain the best possible image.

2. Reviews patient charts for missed clinical information and/or consent. Screens patients for surgical and other implants, contrast allergies, etc.

3. Obtains prior films/exams as needed and performs high quality scans to submit to the Radiologist for interpretation.

4. Performs exams while attending to patient’s care before, during and following exam and notifies the appropriate party if patient’s condition changes at any time.

5. Transfers images to other locations as needed.

6. Coordinates scan protocols with Radiologist.

7. Maintains and regularly inspects equipment and immediately reports any quality concerns as well as equipment failures or deficiencies.

8. Interfaces with Lead Technologist & Center/Area Manager regarding any and all departmental concerns.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no supervision responsibilities.

This job operates in an environmentally controlled outpatient clinical environment. Potential exposure to radiation, which is minimized by the use of Personal Protective Equipment. Possible exposure to bodily fluids, communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation and other conditions common to a medical office environment. Often requires work in cool, dimly lighted rooms.

Job Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications/Experience:

• Two plus years’ experience in Computed Tomography (CT) – preferred
• Ability to educate patients on procedures being performed
• Detail oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver and a team player
• Ability to excel in a very fast-pace team environment
• Ability to continuously “exceed” company and customer expectation

Education/Certifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
• Registry in Computed Tomography (CT)
• Current license from state medical board (if applicable)
• Current CPR certification
