Job summary

Envision Imaging is seeking a PRN Ultrasound Technologist to perform ultrasound procedures for adult and pediatric patients and to assist radiologists during specialized exams to obtain high-quality images.

Applications require an accredited Sonography program, ARDMS RVT/VS or OB/GYN registry preference, and CPR/BLS certification. The role includes patient education, equipment maintenance, and readiness to support a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Two plus years’ experience in Ultrasound (preferred).
• Graduate of an accredited Sonography program.
• Current ARDMS RVT or ARRT (VS) registry preferred.
• Current ARDMS OB/GYN or ARRT (S) registry preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Interfaces with patient to ascertain medical history and explains procedures to obtain best images.
• Reviews patient charts for missing information and implants; screens for allergies, etc.
• Performs ultrasound scans and prints images; monitors patient condition and communicates changes.
• Assists Radiologist on specialized exams.
• Transfers images to other locations as needed.
• Coordinates scan protocols with Radiologist.
• Maintains and inspects equipment; reports quality concerns or failures.
• Adheres to Conduct and Compliance policies.
