Job summary

National Bank of Pakistan in Sahiwal invites applications for the position of Credit Manager (AVP). The role reports to Regional Executive Credit - Credit Risk Management Division and requires strong credit analysis, financial statement analysis, and knowledge of SBP regulations.

Candidates should have a minimum 6 years’ experience in commercial and/or SME banking, a graduation with finance/accounting background (master's preferred incl. ACCA), and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum Graduation or equivalent from local or international university recognized by the HEC of Pakistan, preferably with accounting or finance background.
• Masters degree in finance, economics or ACCA qualifications will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Regional Executive Credit in reviewing and analyzing credit proposals for SME, Commercial and Agri including quantitative analysis and climate-related risks.
• Analyze working capital and requirements for SME, Commercial and Agri segments including production and development loans as well as seasonal financing requirements.
• Comply with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Structure credit limits in line with borrower requirements and collateral offered.
• Assist in rectifying internal/external audit observations.
• Coordinate with business groups for clarifications and relevant information.
• Understand farm and non-farm credit lifecycle with awareness of green banking, environmental and climate-related risks.
• Perform any other assignment as assigned by supervisor(s).
