Job summary

National Bank of Pakistan in Islamabad is seeking a Credit Analyst (AVP) to join the Risk Management Division. You will analyze credit proposals, assess obligor creditworthiness, and coordinate due diligence with business groups to ensure regulatory compliance.

Strong cash flow analysis, collateral assessment, and SBP knowledge are essential. Reporting to the GM Credit Risk, you will develop credit analyses, monitor portfolio risk, and support audits.

Qualifications

• Credit and financial statement analysis
• Knowledge of Corporate and Commercial financing products
• Understanding of collaterals and security assessments
• Knowledge of SBP prudential regulations
• Good interpersonal skills and MS Office proficiency

Responsibilities

• Analyze credit proposals and assess creditworthiness with business cycles and cash flow.
• Coordinate with business groups to gather information for due diligence.
• Partner with business and risk teams to develop credit analysis considering market dynamics.
• Analyze client cash flow and liquidity position via ratio analysis or stress testing.
• Assess reputational risks including climate and sustainability risks.
• Conduct security assessments, review search reports and collateral.
• Recommend requests for GM Credit Risk approval and recommendations.
• Provide insightful portfolio analysis.
• Assist in internal/external audits.
• Perform other assignments as required by supervisors
