Job Summary:

You will responsible to carry out day-to-day operations such as receiving, storage, preservation, handling, issuance, charging of supplies to the departments/ patient care areas as per organizational, safety and quality standards.

Job Role / Responsibilities:

• Responsible for day-to-day administrative work of the department, such as attendance, duty scheduling, staff affairs and record for monthly production reports etc.
• Help to maintain the departmental discipline and implementation of the department policies as advised by the Manager, L.L.S.D., to ensure smooth operation of the department.
• Evaluates departmental worker performance and identify the area for on job training & schedule accordingly.
• Supervise and maintain the quality of laundry washing hygienically by checking the result, procedure, PH level, chemical dosing etc.
• Monitor the available resources to ensure there is a sense of cost consciousness and operate laundry & Linen sections at maximum production with minimum cost.
• Any other related task assigned by Supervisor.

Eligibility Criteria / Requirements:

• 14 Years of Education / B.Sc. / B. Com / B.A or equivalent.
• Good communication skills and Strong computer literacy.
• 2 to 3 year’s supervisory experience of handling large teams.
• 6-8 years of related field experience, including laundry operations and handling uniform & linen distribution techniques.
• Able to supervise workers and maintain good working morale.
• Adequate knowledge about hospital laundry and infection control system.
• Knowledge of laundry chemicals such as washing detergent, Bleach, and spotting chemicals etc.
• Willing to perform shift duties.
