Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mason or similar role.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
• Skilled in mixing mortar and laying bricks/stones according to specifications.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and construction plans to determine project specifications.
• Measure and mark surfaces to lay out work according to the plans.
• Mix cement, sand, and water to create mortar or grout for laying bricks or stones.
• Lay bricks or stones in rows or patterns using mortar as binding agent.
• Cut or shape bricks using hand tools or power saws.
• Repair existing structures by replacing damaged bricks or stones.
• Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete using trowels or other tools.
• Clean excess mortar from finished work before it hardens.
