Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of masonry experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent education is required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects; good hand-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Measure and mark surfaces to lay out work.
• Mix mortar or grout using cement, sand, water, and lime.
• Lay bricks or other materials in horizontal courses.
• Cut bricks or other materials to fit openings or structures.
• Use hand and power tools to chip, grind and polish surfaces.
• Repair cracks or holes in masonry structures.
• Follow safety procedures at all times.
