Job summary

Icap's Legal Department in Karachi seeks an Officer (Contractual) to assist in drafting and vetting agreements and other legal documents, and to support day-to-day legal operations.

The role involves reviewing documents, preparing letters and statements, and providing updates on litigation, while staying abreast of new laws. Candidates should have a recognized law degree and 6 months to 1 year of hands-on corporate-law experience.

Qualifications

• Require Law degree with 6 months to 1 year hands-on experience in corporate law.
• Experience in preparing, reviewing, and drafting contracts and/or agreements.
• Strong drafting, communication, time management and administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in drafting and vetting agreements, contracts, MOUs and other legal documents.
• Review the legal document and any other relevant documents.
• Prepare Letters, Reply, Written Statements, Counter Affidavit, and rejoinders, etc.
