Job summary

Pakistan Vinyl Industries seeks a Law Officer to provide practical legal guidance, draft and review contracts, undertakings, notices, and other documents, and coordinate compliance across departments in an industrial setting, ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will monitor litigation, manage routine matters, liaise with external counsel, courts, and government offices, and maintain clear status records with follow-up schedules from Lahore, while protecting confidential information.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Pakistani corporate, commercial, labor, contract, and regulatory law.
• Ability to draft and review agreements, notices, opinions, pleadings, and official correspondence.
• Practical legal research skills—interpreting statutes, rules, notifications, and case law.
• Experience coordinating litigation, hearings, external lawyers, and government departments.
• Clear written and verbal communication with sound judgment and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal document management, with effective reporting and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and maintain contracts, undertakings, notices, correspondence, and other legal documents.
• Provide legal research and concise advice on corporate, commercial, employment, regulatory, and operational matters.
• Coordinate with external counsel, courts, government offices, and relevant authorities when required.
• Monitor litigation, claims, legal notices, and case documentation, maintaining clear status records and follow-up schedules.
• Support compliance reviews, internal investigations, policy updates, and document control across departments.
• Identify legal risks in business processes and recommend practical measures.
