Job summary

India Abroad is seeking a highly skilled Information Security Analyst for a contract role in Lahore, Pakistan. The position focuses on protecting sensitive data and systems by conducting regular security assessments, implementing security policies, monitoring networks, and investigating incidents.

The role requires 3+ years in information security, strong knowledge of security tools and standards, and excellent collaboration and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in information security analysis or related role.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS and other security tools.
• Experience with vulnerability scanning tools such as Nessus or Qualys.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001 and PCI DSS.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and risks within systems and networks.
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures and guidelines to maintain a secure environment.
• Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity or breaches.
• Investigate security incidents and provide remediation recommendations.
• Stay up-to-date with information security trends, threats and technologies.
