Job summary

BlueHorizon in Lahore, Pakistan, seeks an Information Security Analyst to protect the company’s data and systems. You will collaborate with the IT team to identify vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate risk.

The role requires securing the IT environment and implementing robust security controls. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, with at least two years in information security, strong knowledge of network security, and hands-on experience with Nessus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in information security or related role.
• Strong knowledge of network security protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience with vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus or Qualys.
• Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and incident response procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential threats
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to protect company data and systems
• Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and respond to security incidents in a timely manner
• Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats trends and technologies
• Collaborate with IT team to ensure all systems are properly secured including firewalls antivirus software and access controls
• Conduct employee training on information security best practices and awareness

Salary Salary for this position is 1700$ per month
