Job summary

GulfStream Media UAE is seeking an Information Security Analyst to safeguard company systems and data from security breaches in Faisalabad, Pakistan. You will assess risks, implement controls, monitor activity, and educate staff on security best practices.

Travel to other locations within Pakistan may be required. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2+ years of security experience, with knowledge of Nessus/QualysGuard and standards like ISO 27001/27002 or NIST CSF.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of information security analysis experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of network security, encryption, and firewalls.
• Experience with vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus or QualysGuard.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001/27002 or NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
• Excellent communication to convey technical info to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, detail-oriented and analytical.
• Knowledge of Pakistani data privacy laws is a plus.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM or CEH are preferred.

Job description

The Information Security Analyst will be responsible for protecting the companys computer systems and networks from potential security breaches They will analyze and assess security risks implement security measures monitor network activity and investigate any possible security incidents The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in areas such as network security encryption methods and vulnerability assessments They must also have excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders and educate employees on best practices for information security The role may require occasional travel to other locations within Faisalabad or to other cities in Pakistan Accommodation and a biometric passport will be provided by the company This position is open to all genders

Salary 900$ per month negotiable based on experience

• Knowledge of industry standards such as ISO 2700127002 or NIST Cybersecurity Framework
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of Pakistani data privacy laws and regulations is a plus
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP CISM or CEH are preferred
