Job summary

Convo is seeking a Connector Factory Engineer with 5+ years of experience in building and supporting enterprise data integrations. You will focus on developing reliable inbound connectors and ensuring accurate data movement into standardized platform contracts.

Responsibilities include implementing Python connectors for REST APIs and SFTP feeds, mapping source schemas, and supporting monitoring, reconciliation and operational processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and operating enterprise data integrations or inbound connectors.
• Strong Python integration development experience.
• Experience with REST and SFTP/file-based integration patterns.
• Proficient in schema mapping, validation and error handling.

Responsibilities

• Implement Python Connectors for REST APIs, SFTP/file feeds and interfaces.
• Map source schemas into canonical contracts and produce validation reports.
• Implement authentication, scheduling, pagination, retries, checkpointing and reprocessing.
• Add connector-level monitoring, reconciliation and operational procedures.
• Maintain configuration, mappings, tests and handover materials.
