Job summary

Convo is seeking a Connector Factory Engineer with 5+ years of experience to build and support enterprise data integrations. You will develop Python connectors for REST APIs and SFTP feeds, map source schemas to canonical contracts, and implement validation and secure authentication.

You will also contribute to monitoring, reconciliation and operational runbooks. The role emphasizes reliable data movement, error handling and CI-based testing, working under Data Engineering leadership to deliver

Qualifications

5+ years building and operating enterprise data integrations or inbound connectors.
Strong Python integration development.
REST and SFTP/file-based integration patterns.
Schema mapping, validation and structured error handling.
Secure credential handling and API authentication mechanisms.
Automated unit/integration tests and CI-based packaging.
Operational support for data feeds including reconciliation.

Responsibilities

Implement Python Connectors for REST APIs, SFTP/file feeds and approved interfaces.
Map source YAML schemas into canonical landing contracts and provide validation reports.
Implement authentication, scheduling, pagination, retries, checkpointing and idempotent reprocessing.
Add connector-level monitoring, reconciliation and operational support procedures.
Maintain configuration, mapping documentation, automated tests and handover materials.
