Responsibilities

• Identify and engage communities in the program’s catchment area.
• Develop relationships using PRA tools and community engagement approaches.
• Identify stakeholders, conduct regular meetings, and maintain positive relationships.
• Understand telehealth program operations and collaborate within a team.
• Establish community referrals to telehealth facilities and programs.
• Perform RN/NA/pharmacy assistant/receptionist tasks as needed.
• Spread information about the telehealth center and make referrals.
• Conduct health awareness sessions in communities, homes, and clinics.
• Identify community health needs for the core team.
• Travel extensively to community homes, locations, NGOs, and outreach sites.
• Collect community feedback and attend training sessions and meetings.

Job Description

Community Engagement:

• Identify and engage communities in the program’s catchment area.
• Once trained, utilize differentcommunity engagement approaches and participatory rural appraisal (PRA) tools to develop and maintain strong relationships with communities in their designated areas.
• Identify stakeholders and facilitators in the communities, conduct regular meetings with them and maintain positive working relationships with them.
• Have a good understanding of the telehealth program and how it operates.
• Work collaboratively and effectively within a team.
• Establish community referrals to the telehealth facility and programs.
• May have to perform other tasks of an RN, NA, pharmacy assistant, and receptionist in case needed.
• Spread information about the telehealth center in the communities and make referrals accordingly.
• Conduct health awareness sessions in the communities, homes, and in the clinic setting.
• Identify community health needs and information for the core team.
• Travel extensively to community homes, community locations, various NGOs, and other outreach destinations.
• Collect community feedback regarding the services provided by the telehealth center.
• Attend the training sessions and weekly meetings.

Data Reporting:

• Document all the data coming from the field, both qualitative and quantitative, including the stories coming from the community.
• Report progress and weekly updates to the program coordinator.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
• Support other departmental public health programs in establishing linkages with the community

• Willing to travel to different program locations (within and outside the city) when needed.
