• Community Health Assessment: Conduct health assessments and screenings to identify specific health needs, trends, and risk factors within communities in Islamabad.
• Health Education and Promotion: Develop and implement health education programs and campaigns on topics such as nutrition, hygiene, disease prevention (e.g., vaccination drives), and healthy lifestyles for diverse populations (schools, community centers, homes).
• Disease Prevention and Control: Investigate communicable diseases, conduct contact tracing, organize and run immunization programs and screenings (e.g., TB testing), and implement control strategies during outbreaks and public health emergencies.
• Direct Patient Care (Community Settings): Provide direct nursing services and support to individuals and families in various community settings, including home visits, clinics, and schools, often for at-risk or underserved populations.
• Collaboration and Advocacy: Work with local health departments, government agencies, community organizations, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care, ensure access to resources, and advocate for policies that promote health equity and improve community health outcomes.
• Data Management and Analysis: Maintain accurate patient records and medical data, analyze health trends, and prepare reports to inform program development and evaluation.
