Job summary

Flipdish is hiring a Commercial Systems Engineer to build the products, systems, automations, and internal tools that help our commercial teams scale. Your work will support high-impact initiatives across AI Marketing, Google Business Profile (GBP), Growth Operations, and wider commercial workflows.

You’ll partner closely with Sales, Onboarding, Partnerships, Marketing, Product, and Operations to turn revenue and efficiency problems into practical, production-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience with the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js).
• Experience deploying real products on AWS and managing end-to-end deployment.
• Ability to translate business needs into practical technical solutions.
• Strong communication with non-engineers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy, and maintain systems that support commercial products and internal operations.
• Build internal tools and automation to scale Sales, Onboarding, Partnerships, and Marketing.
• Deliver product improvements and monitoring for GBP initiatives to improve discovery and revenue.
• Build scalable automation for AI Marketing including campaign setup, QA, monitoring, and attribution.
• Use AI-assisted engineering tools to ship faster and unlock capabilities.
• Own the path from local development to production on AWS, including deployment and reliability.
• Build dashboards to track adoption, performance, and commercial outcomes.
• Take end-to-end ownership: scope, ship, measure impact, and iterate.
