Job summary

SMEC is inviting expressions of interest for a Coastal Engineering Team Leader based in Hyderabad, Pakistan. The role requires senior leadership to guide coastal infrastructure, flood risk, and climate resilience assignments to international standards and best practices.

The candidate should hold a Master’s in Coastal Engineering with at least 20 years’ relevant experience and 10+ years in leadership roles, with strong planning, design review, and stakeholder coordination skills.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Coastal Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 20 years of coastal engineering and climate resilience experience.
• At least 10 years in senior leadership roles (Team Leader/Project Manager).
• Experience with international development agencies or donor projects is advantageous.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with clients and stakeholders.
