Job summary
Veeam is expanding its engineering team and seeking a DevOps Engineer to help build a new SaaS platform underpinning enterprise apps. You’ll work in a distributed agile team, implementing automated deployment pipelines and ensuring scalable, secure cloud infrastructure.
You’ll be comfortable with AWS/Azure/GCP, IaC, container tech, CI/CD, monitoring, and on-call rotations, contributing to high-availability runtimes and performance tuning while actively learning new technologies.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of software development experience in cloud environments.
- Experience with infrastructure as code and cloud provisioning tools.
- Experience with container technologies and orchestration.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation.
- Proficiency in Python or Go.
- Strong monitoring and observability knowledge.
- Linux/Bash scripting proficiency.
- Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated deployment pipelines.
- Contribute to scalable, secure back-end cloud infrastructure.
- Monitor platform performance and participate in on-call rotations.
- Integrate new technologies into existing infrastructure.
- Collaborate in a distributed agile team to deliver SaaS capabilities.
- Support continuous improvement through tooling and process enhancements.
