Job summary

Veeam is expanding its engineering team and seeking a DevOps Engineer to help build a new SaaS platform underpinning enterprise apps. You’ll work in a distributed agile team, implementing automated deployment pipelines and ensuring scalable, secure cloud infrastructure.

You’ll be comfortable with AWS/Azure/GCP, IaC, container tech, CI/CD, monitoring, and on-call rotations, contributing to high-availability runtimes and performance tuning while actively learning new technologies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software development experience in cloud environments.
• Experience with infrastructure as code and cloud provisioning tools.
• Experience with container technologies and orchestration.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Proficiency in Python or Go.
• Strong monitoring and observability knowledge.
• Linux/Bash scripting proficiency.
• Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.

Responsibilities

About the Role

We are now expanding our engineering team and looking for a DevOps engineer. You will be working as a part of a distributed agile team, building a new SaaS platform that underpins a suite of enterprise applications solving a variety of hard data analytics and enterprise problems. You will be responsible for ensuring that the framework and products we develop meet the established design, implementation, and quality goals

What You’ll Do

• Be a part of a globally distributed team of operations team to design/develop/architectSecuriti’score infrastructure
• Write reliable, secure, performant, and fully automated deployment pipelines
• Monitor platform performance and beon-callto address any urgent issues
• Integratenew technologiesinto back-end cloud infrastructure
• Evaluate and adaptnew technologieswhere they provide value
• Participate in on-call rotations as needed tomonitorand act on alerts fromSecuriti’sinfrastructure

What You’ll Bring

• Minimum 2 years of experience developing software, with experience in cloud providers like AWS, Azure, GCP
• Experience with writing infrastructure as code with relevant experience using tools like Terraform, AWS Cloud Formation
• Experience with Container technologies like Docker and container orchestration systems like Kubernetes
• Experience with continuous integration tools like Jenkins
• Experience with configuration management, network request routing, blue/green or canary deployments, in-service software upgrade
• Development experience with one of Python or Golang
• Experience with Monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana,WaveFront,Zabbix,,etc
• Good knowledge of Linux and Bash scripting
• Experience with SQL (Postgres) and NoSQL (Mongo/Elasticsearch) technologies
• Knowledge and use of performance tuning,profiling,,and software metrics tools
• Very strongdiagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Proven ability toutilizecreative thinking to solve complex engineering problems.
• Experience with agile development methodologies isa must
• Outstanding verbal,written,,and interpersonal communication skills
• High levelof energy, teamwork, can-do attitude, and willingness to learnnew technologies
