Job summary

Arpatech (Pvt) Ltd is seeking a proactive Azure Cloud Support Engineer to deliver first-line support for Microsoft Azure environments and assist with migrations and basic infra tasks.

Ideal candidates will have 1–3 years of hands-on Azure experience, AZ-104 certification, and strong scripting skills (PowerShell/Bash/Azure CLI). You will work across Linux/Windows, monitor resources, and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, or related field required.
• 1–3 years of hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Azure environments.
• Strong knowledge of Azure IaaS and PaaS services.
• Experience with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and VM management.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficient in PowerShell, Bash, or Azure CLI scripting.
• Understanding of cloud monitoring, dashboards, and CI/CD concepts.
• Certification AZ-104 mandatory; AZ-900 and AZ-204 preferred.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support for Microsoft Azure services.
• Troubleshoot incidents and ensure timely resolution or escalation.
• Monitor and manage customer environments on Azure.
• Assist with Azure cloud migrations and basic infrastructure tasks.
• Troubleshoot resources (VMs, App Services, Storage, Networking).

Job Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Azure Cloud Support Engineer to provide first-line technical support and operational assistance for Microsoft Azure cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with Azure services, troubleshooting cloud infrastructure, and supporting containerised applications. This role requires strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills to deliver timely resolutions to customer technical issues.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Provide first-line technical support for customer queries related to Microsoft Azure services.
• Respond to customer incidents, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution or escalation.
• Monitor, manage, and support customer environments hosted on Microsoft Azure.
• Assist with Azure cloud migrations and support basic cloud infrastructure services.
• Troubleshoot Azure resources, including Virtual Machines, App Services, Storage Accounts, Networking, and Resource Groups.
• Support containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes on Linux and Windows environments.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, and other monitoring tools.
• Perform basic automation tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or ARM/Bicep templates.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams to resolve complex technical issues.
• Document troubleshooting procedures, knowledge base articles, and customer resolutions.
• Ensure adherence to operational procedures and service level agreements (SLAs).

Required skills & qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience supporting Microsoft Azure environments.
• Good understanding of Microsoft Azure IaaS and PaaS services.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure App Services, Azure Storage Accounts, Resource Groups, Azure Monitor, application insights & Azure Virtual Machines.
• Basic knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows administration.
• Basic scripting experience using PowerShell, Bash, or Azure CLI.
• Understanding of cloud monitoring, application performance monitoring, and operational dashboards.
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and modern software development practices
• Knowledge of Azure SQL Database or Azure Cosmos DB is an advantage.
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools (ARM Templates, Bicep, or Terraform) is a plus.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
