Job summary

Aga Khan University Hospital is seeking a Coordinator - Administration, Clinical Laboratory in Karachi. The role focuses on coordinating with stakeholders, conducting audits at collection points, and ensuring quality and patient satisfaction across the clinical laboratory operations.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree or MBA and 3–8 years of relevant experience in laboratory settings, with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or MBA or equivalent required.
• 3–4 years of relevant clinical laboratory experience at AKUH or 6–8 years in a lab setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of laboratory tests and related responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth operation of collection points.
• Visit collection points regularly to perform financial and quality audits.
• Ensure compliance of quality indicators and patient satisfaction index.
• Handle lab test queries, incident reporting and complaints of patients/physicians within stipulated timelines.
• Handle inventory management of collection points.
• Manage staff’s duties, leaves, overtime and trainings.
• Ensure compliance of CAP and JCIA standards for quality patient care.
