Job summary

Translation Empire PK is seeking Chinese interpreters and translators to work onsite in Rawalpindi/Islamabad, serving health, legal, educational, immigration and refugee services. Responsibilities include interpreting with 100% accuracy, ensuring understanding after every sentence, and handling confidential information.

Requirements include IELTS with 6.5 overall and 6.0 in each subtest, fluent English, and a BS/MS in English-related fields or TESOL.

Qualifications

• IELTS certificate with overall 6.5 and a minimum of 6.0 in each subtest.
• BS/MS Degree in English Language, Literature, ELT or TESOL.
• Any other interpreting related qualification.

Responsibilities

• Interpret for people using legal, health and local government services.
• Check the non-English speaker's understanding after each sentence.
• Consecutive, conference and public service interpreting.
• Deal with highly confidential information.
• Liaise between the service user and service provider.

Translation Empire PK is looking for a Chinese Interpreter and Translator in Rawalpindi/ Islamabad

We are currently recruiting for Chinese interpreters and Translators based in Rawalpindi/Islamabad to work within various settings such as the health care, Legal, Educational, Immigration & Refugee services etc.

Established in 2001 Translation Empire PK provides professional interpreting and translation services to both the government, public and private sectors across organizations around the globe. If you speak fluent English and Chinese language, this could be the role for you.

• Telephone Interpreters
• Video Interpreters
• Translators

The Job:

Interpreting involves listening to, understanding and memorizing content in the original ‘source' language, then reproducing the speech into the ‘target' language with 100% accuracy.

You will:

• Interpret for people using legal, health and local government services
• Check the non-English speakers understanding after each sentence
• Conference, consecutive and public service interpreting
• Dealing with highly confidential information
• Liaise between the service user and service provider

Requirements:

• Fluent in English or another language
• BS/MS Degree in English Language, Literature, English Language Teaching (ELT) or TESOL
• Any other interpreting related qualification
• Must hold an IELTS (International English Language Testing System) certificate with an overall band score of 6.5, including a minimum of 6.0 in each individual subtest (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking)
• You will be required to sign and agree to a surety bond
• You will be required to sign and agree to a Non-Disclosure Agreement
