Job summary

HBL is seeking a Cash Officer to ensure error-free processing of cash and non-financial transactions, adhering to SOPs and KPI targets. The role focuses on safeguarding cash, reporting, and compliance to achieve strong audit results.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Error free execution of customer/branch financial transactions as per delegated authority and SOPs.
• Implement processes per SOPs and KPIs to ensure adherence and branch performance.
• Check and monitor branch operational reports to mitigate operational risk and aid audit rating.
• Safeguard cash vault, stationery and ATM during transactions to maintain security.
• Report suspicious transactions to Branch Operations Manager or Manager Teller for escalation.
• Ensure charges are recovered as per Schedule Of Bank Charges (SOBC).
• Maintain cash MIS / Cash Transactions Reporting for regulators (SBP) and senior management.
• Maintain cash in hand and Vault per State bank's clean note policy and cash-in-safe limits to avoid penalties and attain audit ratings.
• Ensure cash balancing reconciled with cash on hand GL in all currencies to mitigate cash differences.
