Job summary

Job: Business Intelligence Analyst

Job Profile:
As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will support the Finance and leadership teams by providing data-driven insights and business analysis across a high-volume SaaS environment. This role will focus on analyzing subscription, billing, customer, and financial data to support reporting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.

You will work with data across multiple systems including subscription platforms, Stripe billing systems, and Banana ERP/accounting tools to help improve visibility into business performance and growth opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, experience working with large datasets, and the ability to translate data into meaningful business insights. This role is well suited for someone with experience in Business Intelligence, Financial Analytics, Revenue Analytics, or SaaS reporting environments who is looking to work closely with international stakeholders in a fast-paced software business environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Analyze subscription, customer, billing, and revenue data to identify trends and business insights.
• Support reporting and analysis related to SaaS metrics including ARR, MRR, churn, retention, and customer growth.
• Prepare regular business performance reports and dashboards for leadership and Finance teams.
• Assist in developing forecasting models and sales performance analysis.
• Consolidate and reconcile data from multiple systems including Stripe and ERP/accounting systems such as Banana ERP.
• Work with stakeholders to improve data visibility, reporting accuracy, and operational insights.
• Build and maintain dashboards and KPI reporting using BI and visualization tools.
• Support ad hoc analysis and reporting requests from leadership and operational teams.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, reporting automation, and operational efficiencies.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of data used for reporting and business analysis.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, and leadership teams on various analytical initiatives.

Qualifications for Success:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Financial Analytics, Reporting, or similar analytical roles.
• Experience working with large datasets and business reporting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong comfort level working with numbers and financial/business data.
• Experience with BI and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms is preferred.
• Working knowledge of SQL and data extraction/manipulation techniques is preferred.
• Familiarity with SaaS, subscription-based businesses, or recurring revenue models will be considered an advantage.
• Experience working with Stripe billing systems is preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP/accounting systems such as Banana ERP will be considered an advantage.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail and willingness to learn and grow within the role.
